Pembine....Match tonight...finished 4th overall, tied with Pembine

We had a good night at Pembine...each player stepping it up, besting their previous conference match score of this past Tuesdays meet at McClauslin Brook, Lakewood...

Eric shot a 42...Zach a 48, and Kim another 48, Hillary, and Shania shooting a score of 50 each...so, we are on good track.

Here a couple pics following the match...first, Eric and his group going over their scorecard with coaches..

Zach, Shania (yeah...we see you Shania...don't deny it, right there behind that hand!), and Hillary...its Peanut Butta Jelly time...peanut butta...er, well...no, but the clubhouse did grill up some burgers for us!!!

This next Monday...we play a Ryder Cup style shoot out match at Nicolet Country Club, Laona...against Crandon and Wabeno...then its conference match on Tuesday at Laona, and an invitational meet at Eagle River Public Golf Course Thursday...

First Conference Match...held at McCauslin Brook...

In short...we came in fifth overall...this past Thursday night...
as for contention, Eric Rosio was medalist, shooting a 38...!!!


Way to go Eric...keep that up!

Oak Crest Invitational Golf Meet...

Kelly Golfers started off a cold and questionable day with snow on the ground...but by the time we arrived at the course in Norway, Michigan...the ground was green and clear.  Cold..very windy, and a bit discouraging.  Needless to say...as the event progressed, it would see the sun appear and a warmer side.  Still...the winds shot down much of that warmth. 

A very nice course and time had...and on route home, coach Seiler had a short little detour in mind.  Sharing one of his favorite (and many there are...) places to paint outdoors, Long Slide Falls of the Peme Bon Won river.  Just 40 yards from the cul de sac parking spot...and the athletes enjoyed an awesome site, a roaring tumbling falls.  Of course...a quick moment for a team pic!  Then it was off to home...

Next Tuesday...varsity conference match at Wabeno, then Thursday at Green Acres in Pembine, and May 1st Crandon hosts at Nicolet, and then May 5th the "Shoot Out"  at Eagle River...

Brutally cold/windy last night, but tonight...quite nice, and student athletes enjoyed a nice evening event.  Mr. Ferk, coach of Crandon organized the Match Play meet.  Following are some pictures coach Seiler took...
